The Philippine Windsurfing Series Commodore's Cup held at Caliraya Lake closes out the 2009 Philippine windsurfing and kiteboarding season. The Commodore's Cup is open to all windsurfing and kiteboarding enthusiasts from around the World, who are welcome to enjoy the northeast monsoon breezes that rip across Caliraya Lake during December. This last windsurfing adn kiteboarding event of the 2009 season follow events in Puerto Galera and Subic Bay earlier in the year, and is the warm up to the Funboard Cup to be held in Boracay in January. Just 90 minutes South of Manila, Caliraya Lake offers the best windsrufing and kiteboarding on a lake in the Philippines and is a must attend for windsurfers, kiteboarders and action photographers.
