Paranaque City Weather Information

Paranaque City weather is heavily influenced by the two dominant weather patterns that prevail over much of the northern Philippines, depending upon the season you can experience: the northeast monsoon, "amihan", November to April; and, the southwest monsoon, "habagat", from May to October. The northeast monsoon features drier and slightly cooler weather; the southwest monsoon is generally warmer and wetter, especially in the afternoons. There is little temperature variation during the seasons in most places with average highs and lows of around 33C (88F) and 25C (75F) respectively.

Metro Manila′s vast expanse of concrete, does have an affect on the weather in Paranaque. Most noticeable during the northeast monsoon, the concrete induced thermal activity over Metro Manila frequently spawns late afternoon thunderstorms. But more significant during the northeast monsoon, after the sun has warmed up Laguna De Bay (a vast, freshwater lake to the southeast of Metro Manila), is a moderate to strong southeast breeze that affects Paranaque City for much of the afternoon.

Paranaque City weather throughout the year is great for all sports. Training sessions and tournaments for the different sports - rugby, football (soccer), cricket, lawn bowls, tennis and swimming - follow the seasons in the same way as they do throughout much of the northern hemisphere.
