Busuanga / Coron Weather Information
Busuanga weather is influenced to the greatest extent by the two dominant weather patterns that prevail over much of the northern Philippines, depending upon the season: the northeast monsoon, "amihan", November to April; and, the southwest monsoon, "habagat", from May to October. The northeast monsoon features drier and slightly cooler weather; the southwest monsoon weather is generally warmer and wetter, especially in the afternoons. There is little temperature variation during the seasons in Busuanga, with average highs and lows of around 31C (88F) and 21C (70F) respectively; sea surface temperature is in the range of 28C (83F) to 23C (74F).
If you are planning to come to the El Rio y Mar Island Resort to escape to a luxury Philippine holiday destination in paradise or, to explore the multitudinous corals and abundant shipwrecks scuba diving then the weather is perfect all the year round. The northeast monsoon from, November to April, provides the best sailing breezes for island hopping and for exploring Busuanga Island in ocean kayaks.
