I was told that wakeboarding Davao was possible at the Deca Wakeboarding Park in Mintal, just West of Davao City. Just to let everyone know, as at yesterday, 23 August, 2009, the Deca Wakeboarding Park is not yet open for business. The overhead wakeboarding cableway is installed but the wakeboard lagoon is still under construction, there are no facilities, no changing rooms, no restaurant, wala! . . . today, it is just a building site with nothing happening.

The residents of Mintal are curious about the lack of progress at the wakeboarding park, slated to have been ready by the end of July, and are asking, "which July?".

If you are looking for wakeboard parks with overhead wakeboarding cableways then Davao still has a few months to go . . . at least a few months in my estimation.

For cableway wakeboarding skip Davao today, instead still go to CWC at Pili / Naga City, Camarines Sur, or Stoked at Calatagan, Batangas.
