Is There Gliding In The Philippines?

There is gliding in the Philippines. It is very new. Gliding, using sailplanes imported from Holland, is available at Nampicuan, Nueva Ecija, near McArthur Highway, 20km after the end of the SCTEx, going North.

The first flight of the gliders took place on 13th December. The gliders are winch-launched from an 800 meter grass runway using a glider winch, fabricated from imported components and international know-how.
