Last weekend was the annual chili cook-out competition at the Bali Hai Beach Resort, Bauang Beach, in La Union.

Friend Rod Hegerty sent these photographs to me to motivate for me for next year. I thought I would share a few with anyone else who likes chili. There were scores of competitors for the Best Chili title so the eating was good and everything was very tasty according to Rod.

The organizers of the chili cook-out at the Bali Hai Beach Resort had some extra entertainment lined up as well in the form of the Miss Chili Cook-out Beauty Contest.
