Sailors From Hong Kong Compete In New York

Sailors from Hong Kong will compete in New York from 15th - 19th September in the first ever New York Yacht Club Invitational Cup. Members of the Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club were invited to this inaugural event by virtue of the yacht club's historic record of sailing excellence.

The New York Yacht Club Invitational Cup employs a one design sailing fleet competition format using Swan 42s. Twenty of the World's most historic yacht clubs will be visiting to compete in New York for the Invitational Cup.

It is planned to hold the New York Yacht Club Invitational Cup competition every two years from now on.
